The method comprises the following steps: logging into an enterprise instant messaging cloud office platform through an account of the enterprise instant messaging cloud office platform, and opening an E-mail system in the enterprise instant messaging cloud office platform; starting group discussion specific to at least one E-mail in the E-mail system; selecting at least a part of E-mail accounts of E-mail exchange persons in the E-mail, inquiring instant messaging user information corresponding to each selected E-mail account, and calling an instant messaging application according to the instant messaging user information to build an instant messaging group; and permitting each selected instant messaging user to perform instant messaging in an interface of the instant messaging group.
