Problems solved by technology

In addition, test cases need to follow specific test specifications and configuration requirements. At the same time, the same operation and duplication of work are required for each test node. During the test process, it is necessary to manually record the faulty nodes.
Therefore, this approach has a large workload and low test efficiency

Embodiment Construction

[0028] In order to facilitate the understanding of those skilled in the art, the present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, which cannot be used to limit the protection scope of the present invention. It should be noted that, in the case of no conflict, the embodiments in the present application and various manners in the embodiments can be combined with each other.

[0029] see figure 1 , the present invention proposes a method for testing routers, comprising:

[0030] Step 100, generating test cases. Specifically include:

[0031] The test case template corresponding to the router is invoked, and the execution commands and expected test results on the router corresponding to each test node of the router are written in the test case template to obtain the test case.

[0032] Wherein, the test case template may be an Excel table, and the Excel table includes test nodes of the router. It can be in the form of " / module na...

Abstract

The invention discloses a method and a device for testing a router. The method comprises the steps of: generating a test case; converting the generated test case into a network configuration (NETCONF) message; sending the NETCONF message to a router, and receiving a returned message from the router; sending an execution command, on the router, in the test case to the router, and receiving an execution result from the router; and comparing an expected test result in the test case with a test result in the returned message and with the received execution result separately, and displaying comparison results. By adopting the method and the device, the router is automatically tested, and the testing efficiency is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a network configuration (NETCONF, Network Configuration) technology, in particular to a method and device for testing a router. Background technique [0002] In the process of testing the work and maintenance of the router, whether each node in the router works normally requires testers to conduct manual tests according to a large number of test cases, and then evaluate the test results. Since each node has a large number of test objects, each test object involves different test cases, and some test objects have a large number of test cases, and each test case contains multiple index data. In addition, test cases need to follow specific test specifications and configuration requirements. At the same time, the same operation and repeated labor must be performed every time the working status of the test node is tested. During the test process, faulty nodes need to be manually recorded. Therefore, this method has a large workload...
