Abstract

The invention reveals a laser distance-measuring sensor (LDS), a robot and a distance measurement method, and belongs to the field of smart home. The LDS comprises a laser emitting module, a light sensing unit array, and a control unit. The light sensing unit array comprises N light sensing units, wherein N is an integer which is greater than or equal to 1. The control unit is configured to obtain the first signal intensities of light signals sensed by the light sensing units before a laser signal is emitted, and the second signal intensities of light signals sensed by the light sensing units after the laser signal is emitted; determine third signal intensities of the light sensing units through the first signal intensities and the second signal intensities; and determine the distance between the control unit and a barrier according to the determined N third signal intensities. The LDS solves a problem of inaccurate distance measurement caused by the large signal intensities obtained by all light sensing units in a strong light environment. The LDS can effectively reduce the interference, caused by strong light, with the distance measurement result, and achieves an effect that the accurate distance measurement result is more accurate.
