Problems solved by technology

[0007] Existing artificial coin tossing experiments are often carried out by one hand tossing a coin and another person counting next to the experiment. However, due to the large number of experiments required, a lot of manpower and material resources are required, so the current mathematical probability coin tossing experiments often use Computer simulations, computer simulation experiments make students unable to personally participate in probability experiments, so that students cannot deepen their understanding of probability; in view of this, there is an urgent need for a method that can enable students to participate, reduce the workload of manual coin tossing, and improve the accuracy of experiments. Abstract

The invention relates to the math teaching tool field, and more particularly, to a mechanical coin throwing device for mathematic probability experiment. The device comprises a main coin throwing body and a main coin storing body wherein the main coin storing body is arranged at the left upper part of the main coin throwing body. The main coin throwing body includes a coin throwing tube, a coin throwing spring and a popping and sending plate. The coin throwing tube is generally of a center hollowed cylindrical body and comprises a base plate, a straight tube and a bended tube. The main coin storing body includes a coin storing casing body, a push plate and a push motor. According to the coin throwing device of the invention, it is possible to automatically push coins to a designated popping and sending position so that through manual work, the coins can be popped and sent continuously. With the coin throwing device, a student does not have to take and fetch coins manually, and therefore, the student's work intensity is greatly decreased. In addition, with the device, the coin throwing efficiency is increased so as to enable the student to get involved in probability experiments which require to be done for plural times, to have fun in probability experiments and to have deeper understandings on probability.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of mathematics teaching aids, in particular to a mechanical coin thrower for mathematical probability. Background technique [0002] Probability, also known as probability, chance rate, chance (probability) or possibility, is a basic concept of probability theory. Probability is a measure of the possibility of a random event occurring, and generally a real number between 0 and 1 represents the possibility of an event occurring. The closer to 1, the event is more likely to occur; the closer to 0, the event is less likely to occur, which is an objective argument rather than a subjective verification. [0003] Probability experiments generally include ball-touching games, coin tosses, turntables, needle-throwing experiments, thumbtack throwing and bottle cap throwing experiments. The above experiments should be done by students themselves. These experiments are relatively simple, and the results are not complicated and ...
