A specific embodiment of the method comprises the following steps of acquiring a current geographic position of a first user using an instant communication tool; determining whether the current geographic position of a first user is the geographic position where a first user frequency is greater than a first preset threshold; responding to a condition that the current geographic position of the first user is not the geographic position where the first user frequency is greater than the first preset threshold, and acquiring a current geographic position of a second user using the instant communication tool; calculating a distance between the current geographic position of the first user and the current geographic position of the second user; and responding to a condition that the distance between the current geographic position of the first user and the current geographic position of the second user is less than a second preset threshold, and pushing second user information to the first user.
