Abstract

The invention provides an obtaining method and device for context information of a user. The obtaining method for the user context information is applied to a distributed system. The distributed system comprises a webpage application server, remote procedure call protocol middleware and a service application server. The method comprises the steps of receiving a remote call request of the service application server; sending a context search request to a context manager, thereby enabling the context manager to obtain the context information of a current operation user from thread local of the service application server; and receiving the context information of the current operation user sent by the context manager. According to the method and the device, the context information of the current operation user can be obtained at the service application server side in the distributed system, the reusability of a service application can be increased, and the inconvenience resulting from displaying and transmitting the context information of the user in interface parameters and a data error resulting from missing parameters can be avoided.
