Abstract

The invention relates to a method for predicting the typical day load of a power grid by a double sides approximate process. The method comprises the following solving processes: setting two scalars [Alpha] and [Beta] which are greater than zero; independently multiplying a reference load curve obtained according to historical load data by the [Alpha] and the [Beta] to obtain a load curve [Alpha] and a load curve [Beta], wherein the load curve [Alpha] and the load curve [Beta] have the same shape with the reference load curve; enabling a typical day load curve to be predicted to be clamped between the load curve [Alpha] and the load curve [Beta]; and adopting an iterative approximate process to reduce a difference value of the [Alpha] and the [Beta] to solve the typical day load curve to be predicted, wherein the typical day load curve to be predicted is most similar to the known reference load curve. By use of the method, the double sides approximate process is adopted to quantitatively analyze and predict load characteristics, and a feasible power grid load prediction method is provided.
