The method comprises the steps that the iOS device sends a first detection request packet containing a random MAC address; a terminal feature acquiring device intercepts and receives the packet; if the terminal feature acquiring device detects that an SSID local area network name is included in the packet, a detection response packet containing the name of the SSID local area network is sent; if the terminal feature acquiring device detects that the SSID local area network name is not included in the packet, a detection response packet containing a preset SSID local area network name is sent; the iOS device receives the detection response packet; if the iOS device is connected with a local area network which is represented by the SSID local area network name in the response packet, the iOS device sends a second detection request packet containing the real MAC address; and the terminal feature acquiring device intercepts and acquires the real MAC addresses.
