The invention discloses an emergency selecting method and system of iron tower maintainers. The system comprises a module for calling the position information of an iron tower which needs emergent maintenance and maintainer information, a distance matrix module for calculating the distance between the iron tower and the maintainers, a busy coefficient matrix module for setting the busy coefficients of the maintainers and a module for calculating the availability matrix of the maintainers and sorting and selecting the maintainers. The method includes: determining the position of the iron tower, determining the distance between the iron tower and each maintainer according to the position to form a distance matrix, determining the busy coefficient of each maintainer according the states of maintenance work orders in the current system to form a busy coefficient matrix, calculating the availability matrix of the maintainers through matrix calculation, and sorting to obtain an optical selecting result. By the system and the method, the maintainer can be emergently selected when emergent problems of the communication iron tower occur.
