The input ends, namely the L end, the N end and the PE end, and the output ends, namely the L' end, the N' end and the PE' end, are connected to a power supply line in series; the power surge protector comprises a tripping mechanism, a piezoresistor and a discharge tube; a first pin of the tripping mechanism is electrically connected with the L end, and a third pin of the tripping mechanism is electrically connected with the L' end; one end of the piezoresistor is electrically connected with a second pin of the tripping mechanism, and the other end of the piezoresistor is electrically connected with the N end; the L' end is used for being connected with a load; when the piezoresistor has no faults, the first pin and the third pin of the tripping mechanism are communicated; when the piezoresistor has a fault, the first pin and the third pin of the tripping mechanism are disconnected. When the power surge protector has no faults, surge protection can be provided for the load, and while the power surge protector has a fault, the first pin and the third pin of the tripping mechanism are disconnected, that is no-output to the load can be achieved.
