Abstract

The invention is mainly applied to medical research in which an SD rat is used as a research subject. A human diabetic pathogenetic feature is simulated through high-fat and high-sugar feed, and a method for constructing a pure high-fat and high-sugar diet induced diabetic animal model is provided. A main research method comprises the following steps that 40 SPF-level healthy SD rats are divided into a common feed control group (C) and a high-fat and high-sugar feed modeling group (CH), each group consists of 20 rats, and half are female and half are male. Energy supply ratios of common feed are as follows: 63.02 percent of carbohydrate, 24.93 percent of protein and 12.05 percent of fat; energy supply ratios of the high-fat and high-sugar feed are as follows: 66.14 percent of carbohydrate, 10.33 percent of protein and 23.53 percent of fat. According to the method, the construction of the pure high-fat and high-sugar diet diabetic animal model by inducing through feeding the rats with the high-fat and high-sugar feed for a long time is adopted; the method can be used for better simulating the pathogenetic and development features of diabetes mellitus type 2 of a crowd, and compared with chemical diabetic modeling, the method has more scientific significance.
