Abstract

The invention discloses an optimal server pricing method based on a user's perceived value in a cloud calculation environment. The method comprises steps of firstly based on the user's perceived value, constructing a pricing model which can reflect the market supply and demand relation according to the change in the service price; constructing an income and system cost model based on the supply and demand relation; and finally, taking into account the number of service requests, the urgency of the service, the workload in the application environment, the quality of service (QoS), the customer service satisfaction and other constraints. By the pricing method of the invention, the optimal configuration information of the server cluster can be obtained, including the optimal number of working servers and the optimal operating frequency, etc. Based on theses configurations, the cloud service provider is enabled to maximize its profits when maximizing the customer service satisfaction. Finally, a dynamically-adaptive closed loop control algorithm is designed to enable the system to dynamically adapt to change in the external condition.
