The invention discloses a cognitive ability assessment system and an assessment method thereof. The assessment system comprises a cloud server and a plurality of test units realizing data transmission with the cloud server, wherein the cloud server comprises a task configuration module, a testing personnel file management module, a data presentation module and a data storage module. The task configuration module configures a corresponding test task for each test unit aiming at operating requirements and test schemes of different positions, and publishes in each test unit through the cloud server. Each test unit comprises an account login module, an assessment analysis module and a front end test module.
