Abstract

The invention discloses a load-aware adaptive threshold overload migration method. The method comprises the following steps: 1, initializing a variable: maintaining a service information table at the start of an algorithm, and automatically registering PCB (Printed Circuit Board) information of a process on a processor by a system; 2, running a load balance algorithm: configuring a corresponding load balance algorithm in a cluster system to perform load distribution on a request of a user; 3, determining whether a processor needing forced migration exists or not; 4, checking whether a server is overloaded or not: periodically monitoring a running condition of the system, and judging whether the server is overloaded or not by taking an overload threshold as a reference; and 5, performing load-awareness-based migration service selection. Through adoption of the method, the overload threshold is changed adaptively according to a rate requested by a client, so that the overload thresholds of servers can be adjusted effectively in real time according to a concurrent volume. Moreover, an optimal emigration scheme is selected for an overload server, so that overload work, even crash of the overload server is prevented.
