According to the method and the apparatus for distinguishing the enterprise persons with the duplicate names, provided by embodiments of the invention, the enterprises associated with the to-be-queried person names are vectorized to generate the corresponding enterprise vectors; the enterprise subsets of the to-be-queried person names are generated according to clustering results of the enterprise vectors; the to-be-queried person names corresponding to the same enterprise subset are enabled to correspond to a same natural person, so that the enterprise persons with the duplicate names can be distinguished; and the enterprise corresponding to each natural person can be intuitively discovered, thereby performing various subsequent analysis and survey conveniently.
