An embodiment of the invention discloses a document generating method and device. According to the detailed description of the invention, the document generating method comprises the following steps: acquiring an initial stream type document which comprises at least two document component units, and determining metadata for indicating labeling of each document component unit; according to the semanteme of the determined metadata, and carrying out structured processing on the determined metadata on the basis of the extensible markup language to generate an extensible markup language architecture document labeled with label information; acquiring an initial stream document with an annotated label, and determining the initial stream document with the annotated label as an annotated stream document; establishing a mapping relation between the label information labeled in the extensible markup language architecture document and the label information labeled in the annotated stream document; and converting the annotated stream document into an extensible markup language document on the basis of the mapping relation.
