The system may be able to return to the previous time in audio / video in response to one or more user inputs, one or more changes in the condition of the vehicle, or both. In some examples, the infotainment system may return to the stop time once the user has heard or seen the beginning of the one or more episodes at the previous time. The return to stop time can be immediate, gradual, or at a fixed rate. In some examples, returning to the stop time can be automatic. In some examples, returning to the stop time may be in response to one or more user inputs. In some examples, the infotainment system can fast-forward to 'live' time, once the user has heard or saw one or more episodes of the previous time.
