The frequency-adjusting method comprises the steps that the operating frequency of each compressor in a to-be-adjusted system is obtained; according to the operating frequency of each compressor, the absolute value of the difference value among the operating frequencies of the different compressors is determined; the absolute value of the difference value among the operating frequencies of the different compressors is compared with a first threshold value, and a first comparative result is obtained; and according to the first comparative result, corresponding frequency adjustment is conducted on the different compressors in the to-be-adjusted system. According to the frequency-adjusting method of the multi-compressor system, the frequency difference situation among the operating frequencies of the different compressors in the multi-compressor system is judged by setting the first threshold value, and according to the frequency difference situation, corresponding frequency adjustment is conducted on the different compressors.
