The trip route planning method includes the following steps: recommending a trip interest point set for a user according to user portrait information of the user and interest point portrayal information of all trip interest points, wherein the user portrait information is generated by mining user data of the user, and the interest point portrayal information is generated by mining relevant data of the corresponding trip interest points; determining multiple trip interest points as destinations according to the trip interest point set; and planning the trip route according to the pre-input information of all the destinations. The method and the device allow the multiple trip interest points of the destinations to be determined and the trip route to be determined according to the pre-input information of all the destinations, so the problem of bad user experiences brought by respective determination of the trip destinations and routes in the prior art is solved.
