Abstract

The invention provides a method and a node for switching of a ZigBee wireless network. The method comprises the following steps of (A) sending data at a first time slot through a route stored by the node; (B) updating gateway information at a second time slot after the first time slot; and (C) after data sending is determined to be completed, utilizing the updated gateway information to update theroute. According to the method and the node for switching of the ZigBee wireless network in the illustrative embodiments of the invention, the node can update the route quickly through updating the gateway information, so that the fast switching of the node between clusters or local area networks is guaranteed, and furthermore, through sending the data and updating the gateway information at different time slots, the collision and the loss of the data can be effectively avoided.
