Abstract

The method includes the following steps that: a bookmark viewing request which is sent by a terminal through using a user account and carries a bookmark identifier is received; a session identifier and a communication message identifier corresponding to the bookmark identifier under the user account are searched; a predetermined number of communication messages adjacent to a bookmark communication message corresponding to the communication message identifier in the historic messages of a session box corresponding to the session identifier are acquired; and a bookmark viewing acknowledgment is sent to the terminal which the user account logins, whereinthe bookmark viewing acknowledgment contains the predetermined number of communication messages and the bookmark communication message and is used for triggering the terminal to display the above predetermined number of communication messages and bookmark communication message according to the publication time of the communication messages. With the bookmark communication message acquisition method and device of the invention adopted, the problem of the monotonicity of display content which is caused by a condition that only single hidden communication messages can be provided for a user in the prior art can be solved; and the display content can be enriched.
