The detection method comprises the following steps: producing and providing indomethacin tablets with different mass gradients; under the same pre-set condition, obtaining characteristic absorption peaks of the indomethacin tablets to terahertz wave radiation under the different mass gradients; radiating a sample to be detected by adoptingterahertz waves and obtaining the characteristic absorption peak of the sample to be detected to the terahertz wave radiation; judging whether the characteristic absorption peak of the sample to be detected to the terahertz wave radiation and the characteristic absorption peaks of the indomethacin tablets to the terahertz wave radiation under the different mass gradients are similar or not underpre-set conditions; if so, judging that the sample to be detected contains the indomethacin. According to the detection method provided by the invention, a manner of radiating the indomethacin tabletsby utilizing terahertz waves is utilized so that the problems of a traditional method of sample damages, high danger and high cost are overcome; the sample is produced by adopting a tabletting methodso that the speed is more rapid when a terahertz detection technology is used for detecting in the future and an obtained result is more accurate and reliable.
