Abstract

The invention discloses a making method of a waistband of a pair of western style trousers. The method comprises the following steps: (1) placing a waist surface in a middle layer, overlaying and aligning the waist side with the front side of a waistband lining and covering a waist interlining in a lower layer by 1.5cm; and stitching the three layers together by 0.7cm, wherein a splicing seam of the waist surface, if spliced, needs to be aligned with a back seam of the trousers; (3) turning over and ironing the waistband lining; and stitching a 0.1cm seam allowance along a turning edge; and (3) scraping some paste to the lower opening of the waist interlining, and buttoning the waistband lining and ironing the waistband lining until the waistband lining gets dried and flat.
