Abstract

The electric toothbrush further comprises a control circuit board which is arranged in the shell and is electrically connected to the driving main body, and a first switch which is arranged on the control circuit board and is used for controlling opening / closing of the driving piece; a second switch is additionally arranged on the control circuit board; and the second switch is arranged in a mode of being opposite to the end of the driving main body. The end of the driving main body, when rotating to get into contact with the second switch, continues to rotate until an opening / closing state of the second switch is changed, and output of the driving piece is reduced orstopped via the control circuit board. According to the electric toothbrush provided by the invention, through the rotation of the driving main body around the supporting shaft, the opening / closing state of the second switch can be changed by the end of the driving main body when pressure of the brush head is too high, so that the output of the driving piece is reduced or stopped; therefore, injuries of teeth or gums due to excessive force in a tooth brushing process of a user can be prevented.
