Abstract

The aircraft shield includes a rear shielding portion for covering the rear of the aircraft in a protective manner. The forward shielding portion extends from the forward edge of the rearward shielding portion and is movable between a closed position covering all or at least part of the forward aircraft portion in a protective manner and an open position allowing entry and exit of the aircraft. The front cover is made of a flexible fabric material and is supported by the front support beams and front support columns when in the closed position. The aircraft shield will protect many types of aircraft from severe weather, has a small footprint and is easy to manufacture and install without requiring significant site preparation and foundations.
