Abstract

The invention provides a catalyst for liquid phase hydrogenation of unsaturated alkene to prepare saturated alkane. The mixed carrier of the catalyst is prepared by following steps: (1) processing active carbon by nitric acid (5%), washing active carbon by purified water until the pH value reaches 6-7, and drying active carbon; and (2) adding dried active carbon into anhydrous ethanol, then addingethyl n-silicate, evenly stirring, dropwise adding ammonia water with a concentration of 10-25%, carrying out reactions for 12 hours at a room temperature, filtering, washing obtained solids by anhydrous ethanol for three times, and drying the solids to obtain the mixed carrier.
