The method comprises: measuring a usage parameter (T2, T4, C1); comparing said measured usage parameter with a threshold value (T2mode, T4mode, C2); determining a usage profile of said system based on said comparison; time repeating said steps of initiating a monitoring procedure, measuring a usage parameter, comparing said measured usage parameter, and determining a usage profile to determine said usage profile at a different time of day; and based on a determination associated with said current time of day The usage profile selects an operating mode of the system.
