Abstract

The invention provides a method for dynamically constructing functions of display elements in a document. The method is characterized by comprising the steps that responding to a request for documentelement initialization, document elements are initialized, so that the document elements have predetermined functions, wherein initialization comprises generation of a predetermined function element set, the predetermined functions are defined in the predetermined function element set, and each element in the predetermined function element set has an identifier associated with the document element; the document elements are encapsulated into the function element set; and one or more elements of a first type and one or more elements of a second type in the function element set are associated, so that an action corresponding to the elements of the second type is executed responding to receiving of input through the elements of the first type.
