control system. The first cavity is defined by an air cylinder cover, an air cylinder
cushion and an air cylinder sleeve. A first
piston is arranged in the first cavity. The upper portion of the
cavity wall on one side of the first cavity is provided with a compression ratio adjusting mechanism. The compression ratio adjusting mechanism comprises a second cavity, a connection
pipe enabling the first cavity and the second cavity to communicate, a second
piston arranged in the second cavity and an executing mechanism which is connected with the second
piston and capable of driving the second piston to move back and forth in the second cavity. The air cylinder cover is provided with an oil
sprayer, a sparking plug and a knock sensor used for detecting knock of the air cylinder. The
control system is connected with the knock sensor and the executing mechanism to form a closed-
loop control system. The air cylinder can adjust the compression ratio of a gasoline engine according to use working conditions, a large compression ratio is adopted when the load is small, a small compression ratio is adopted when the load is large, knock is avoided, the
thermal efficiency of the gasoline engine is improved, and therefore the purpose of saving oil is achieved.
