Abstract

The invention provides an ancient building lightning protection method and system based on high-pressure water columns. The method comprises the following steps: firstly, obtaining weather informationin the current ancient building environment by a weather sensor, and then judging whether lightning weather occurs within a preset time period according to the weather information; then, locating thethundercloud position according to the detected weather information if thunder and lightning weather occurs in the ancient building environment; finally, sending a jet instruction to high-pressure water guns closest to the thundercloud position to control the high-pressure water guns to form the continuous water columns. According to the method, the continuous water columns higher than a buildingcan be formed near the ancient building, and a lightning conducting channel connected with the ground can be formed by the continuous water columns to introduce lightning generated in the thundercloud into the earth, and accordingly, the ancient building is prevented from being attacked by lightning without lightning protection modification. Besides, the water columns sprayed into the sky cannotproduce sparks in the lightening conducting process, and the possibility of fire is reduced.
