[0068] Now in conjunction with embodiment, accompanying drawing, the present invention will be further described:

[0069] The hardware environment used for implementation is: the experimental environment is CPU Intel Core i5-5200U@2.20GHz, memory is 4GB, and MATLAB R2014a is used for programming.

[0070] The basic process of the inventive method is as attached figure 1 As shown, the experimental source image data is attached figure 2 As shown, the comparison chart of the experimental results is shown in the attached image 3 As shown, the specific implementation is as follows:

[0071] Step 1: Decompose the source image using Gaussian smoothing filter

[0072] The Gaussian smoothing filter is used to decompose the multi-focus source image to obtain the low-frequency component, and the high-frequency component is obtained by subtracting the low-frequency component from the source image, as follows:

Abstract

The invention relates to a fast multi-focus image fusion algorithm. The algorithm comprises the following steps of firstly, decomposing a source image by using a smoothing filter and constructing thedecision graph model of multi-focus image fusion; secondly, using the correlation between the neighborhood pixels of multi-focus images to provide a fast steering filter optimization decision graph sothat calculating complexity is greatly reduced; then, reconstructing two scales of images; and finally, using the fusion method of the invention and other triple existing fusion methods to fuse the multi-focus images. Compared with the other three kinds of fusion methods, by using the method of the invention, regardless of subjective visual and objective evaluation indexes, the texture information, the significance information and other details of the multi-focus images can be preserved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of image processing, and in particular relates to a fast multi-focus image fusion method, which can be applied to various military or civilian image processing systems. Background technique [0002] Image fusion technology is to extract information from two or more images to obtain an image technology with richer information and more suitable for visual perception and computer processing. Multi-focus fusion is a kind of image fusion. Multi-focus image fusion refers to the fusion of multiple images with different focus points of the same scene into an image that is clearer than the source image. Due to the limited depth of field of modern optical lenses, it is difficult to obtain a clear image of all objects. Multi-focus image fusion technology can effectively solve this problem, improve the accuracy of image segmentation, and eliminate redundant information between data. Therefore, the research on multi-focus image ...
