The invention discloses a control system and an electronic device of a structured light projector. The control system comprises a first driving circuit, a microprocessor and an application processor.The first driving circuit is connected to the structured light projector and is configured to drive the structured light projector to project laser light. The microprocessor is connected to a first driving circuit to provide a driving signal for the first driving circuit, and is also connected to an infrared camera to receive a data stream sent by the infrared camera. The application processor isconfigured to judge whether a data stream sent by the microprocessor is received or not and to control the first driving circuit to be turned on and off based on the reception result of the data stream. The application processor can determine whether the structured light projector is successfully turned on or off based on the reception result of the data stream, and can control the turning on andoff of the first driving circuit based on the data stream, thereby avoiding the problem that the structured light projector is not successfully turned on or off due to the abnormal software flow, which affects the user experience.
