Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of communication, and provides a message loop elimination method and a distributed elastic DR device. The message loop elimination method is apply to the distributed elastic DR device. A local DR device includes a second DR interface constituting a DR group with each first distribute aggregated DR interface of a peer DR device, a unidirectional isolation group is arranged for an internal control link port IPP of a local DR device. The unidirectional isolation group comprises a second DR interface satisfying a preset condition. The method comprises:receiving a message sent by a peer DR device from the IPP; sending the message through an interface other than a second DR interface in the unidirectional isolation group. Blind forwarding is avoided, thus avoiding the emergence of message loops, and implementation is realized simply without the use of complex protocol algorithms, avoiding low link utilization and waste of network bandwidth resources.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular, to a message loop elimination method and a distributed elastic DR device. Background technique [0002] Multi-chassis link aggregation groups (MLAG for short) realize cross-device link aggregation by virtualizing two physical devices into one device at the aggregation level, thereby providing device-level redundancy protection and traffic load sharing. Distributed Resilient Network Interconnect (DRNI) is a cross-device link aggregation technology. In a typical DRNI network, two (Distributed Resilient, DR) distributed resilient devices form a DR system through Ethernet link aggregation. . DRNI defines the following interface roles for each DR device: DR interface is a Layer 2 aggregation interface connecting the DR device and external devices. The DR interfaces connected to the same aggregation group on the local DR and remote DR belong to the same DR group. The int...
