Abstract

A system for detecting spoofing is provided. The system includes a camera, an image processing unit and a notification device. The camera is configured to capture a sequence of images of the person of interest. The image processing unit is trained to determine a set of bit planes of a plurality of images representing changes in hemoglobin concentration (HC) of the person in the captured image sequence, and to detect invisible emotional states of the person based on the HC changes. The image processing unit is trained using a training set comprising a set of subjects whose affective states are known. A notification device provides notification of at least one of the detected invisible emotional states of the person.
