The alkaloid and the application thereof have the advantages that Meloconine B, Meloconine C, Meloconine G and Meloconine H can inhibit accumulation of the salvianolic acid in the hairy roots of the Salvia miltiorrhiza remarkably but have no obvious effect on accumulation of tanshinone; oppositely, Meloconine J and Leuconolam can induce accumulation of the tanshinone in the hairy roots of the Salvia miltiorrhiza remarkably but have no obvious effect on accumulation of the salvianolic acid; Meloconine A can induce accumulation of both the salvianolic acid and the tanshinone in the hairy roots of the Salvia miltiorrhiza.
