The invention discloses a balancing transformer based on reverse-A wiring and a power supply method thereof. The balancing transformer comprises an iron core, a primary-side winding and a secondary-side winding; the primary-side winding is composed of three-phase windings AN, BN and CN, and adopts star-shape wiring, and N is a neutral point; a three-phase system is formed by a primary-side A, a primary-side B and a primary-side C; in the secondary-side winding, an A phase is a winding dc, the midpoint of the A phase is e, and a B phase is composed of a winding fd and a winding db; a C phase iscomposed of a winding ac and a winding cf; a closed triangle is formed by the winding dc, the winding cf and the winding fd, and an access of third harmonic current is formed; a two-phase system is formed by secondary sides a and e and secondary sides e and b, and the e point is a common point of the two-phase system; meanwhile, a three-phase system is formed by d, c and f, a three-phase supply can be provided externally, and the two-phase system and the three-phase system can simultaneously or separated supply power externally.
