Benefits of technology

The invention helps predict how many times it will produce more than what has been done before by analyzing data from drilling operations or other sources like oil fields that are being developed onshore. By doing this, we aimed at increasing our ability to generate large amounts of natural resources (like coal).

Problems solved by technology

This patented technical problem addressed in this patents relates to understanding how fluid squeezings occur when drilling underground formations such as shales or tight rocks with very small holes called bores where tiny cracks connect together create larger areas around them. Existing models have limitations due to their complexity and lack of adequate computational tools. Therefore, new numerical techniques must be developed to better describe these issues.

Embodiment Construction

[0063] In order to make the technical problems, technical solutions and advantages to be solved by the present invention clearer, the following will describe in detail with reference to the drawings and specific embodiments.

[0064] The invention provides a method for optimizing the spacing between shale gas wells.

[0065] Such as figure 1 As shown, the method includes the following steps:

[0066] (1) Identify the geological structure of the shale reservoir, and determine the area of the block according to the geological structure obtained from the survey;

[0067] (2) Analyze the connection of shale reservoirs and determine the minimum development area unit;

[0068] (3) The available reserves in the area unit determined in the calculation step (2) shall be regarded as an alternative target within the economic benefits, and the reselection area shall be abandoned outside of the economic benefits;

[0069] (4) Drill representative shale cores in the minimum development...

Abstract

The invention provides a shale gas well spacing optimizing mining method, and belongs to the technical field of oil and gas reservoir development. The shale gas well spacing optimizing mining method comprises the steps: firstly, the block area is determined according to a geologic structure obtained through surveying; the reservoir connecting situation is analyzed, and a minimum development area unit is determined; the available reserves in the unit are calculated, and an alternative object is determined; a representative shale core is taken and subjected to physical property analysis; a seepage field and a pressure field are calculated through a multi-filed, multi-flow-state and multi-scale united mathematical model; the effective available area of each well is calculated; and in the welldistributing process, the wells are distributed according to the principle that the interwell interference rates are calculated to be not larger than 10%. According to the shale gas well spacing optimizing mining method, the shale gas development well spacing can be reasonably formulated, and the yield of shale gas is effectively increased.
