Abstract

The invention provides a big-field-depth imaging system and method based on prism beam splitting. The system comprises a lens assembly which is used for collecting reflected light emitted by a photographed object; a beam splitting prism group which comprises a plurality of beam splitting prisms and is used for splitting the reflected light passing through the lens assembly into a plurality of subbeams; at least two imaging elements which are located on an imaging plane of the beam splitting prism group and are used for receiving subbeams and capturing clear images of different surfaces of thephotographed object; a field depth adjustment assembly which adjusts the distances some or all imaging elements and the beam splitting prisms. The beam splitting prisms and the imaging elements located on different imaging planes of the beam splitting prisms are employed, and the field depth adjustment assembly is used for adjusting the distances between all imaging elements and the beam splittingprisms and achieving a purpose that the imaging elements capture clear images of different surfaces of the photographed object. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the system capturesthe images of different surfaces of the photographed object when the system is stationary, thereby avoiding the motion error and timeliness caused by the motion of the imaging system.
