Embodiment Construction

[0035] Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, the same numerals in different drawings refer to the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all implementations consistent with this application. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatuses and methods consistent with aspects of the present application as recited in the appended claims.

[0036] The terminology used in this application is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only, and is not intended to limit the application. As used in this application and the appended claims, the singular forms "a", "the", and "the" are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. It should also be understood that the term...

Abstract

The invention provides a protocol oscillation processing method and device. A first service board in first equipment having a main control board IRF stacking relationship with a second service board receives a first notification message carrying a designated identifier sent when the second service board on the second equipment determines IRF splitting; and sends a detection message requesting response to the main control board of the equipment, and if a response message responding to the detection message by the main control board is not received within preset time, closing the physical port of the main control board and notifying other service boards in the equipment to close the physical port of the main control board. Compared with the prior art, when the main control board of the firstdevice is abnormal, the first service board can quickly know the abnormal condition of the main control board, so that closing of all physical ports is accelerated, unnecessary flow interruption is avoided, and the stability of the IRF stacked network is improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to the technical field of communications, and in particular, to a protocol oscillation processing method and device. Background technique [0002] IRF (Intelligent Resilient Framework, Intelligent Resilient Framework) is a software virtualization technology. Its core idea is to connect multiple devices together, and after necessary configuration, virtualize them into one device. Currently, the commonly used IRF stacking mode is 2-chassis stacking, that is, two devices are combined to form one IRF device. The IRF uses a stack link to maintain the stack status between the two chassis. That is, the master chassis and the standby chassis exchange protocol packets through the stack link to confirm that the current communication between the IRF master chassis and the standby chassis is normal. There are usually two ways to implement stacking links. One is to build a stacking link through the service ports of the service board...
