An automatic delivery bagging method is applied to the automatic delivery bagging unit capable of prestoring the parcel and comprises the following steps that 1, the parcel is received by the collecting bag; 2, the collecting bag is closed and output; and 3, a new collecting bag is held. A space for temporarily receiving the parcel is defined by a receiving fence andconnecting cloth, and the function of temporarily receiving the parcel can be achieved. When the bag holding frame holding the collecting bag moves from the collecting bag holding position to the parcel receiving position, the receiving cloth is stored in a cloth winding barrel, an upper opening and a parcel bagging opening are opened, and the temporarily received parcel in the receiving fence falls into the collecting bag; and therefore it is guaranteed that delivery sorting is continuously carried out, and there is no need to suspend the whole sorting process due to the fact that the bag holding frame is located at the collecting bag holding position.
