Abstract

The invention relates to a granular composite fertilizer pelleting adhesive and a preparation method thereof. The pelleting adhesive consists of the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 0.1-5% of a thickening agent, 0.01-10% of a tackifier, 1-5% of a stabilizer and the balance of water. The pelleting adhesive preparation method comprises the following steps: putting a certain amount of water into a stirring tank, adding a certain percentage of the thickening agent and the stabilizer firstly, conducting stirring for about 30 minutes till complete dissolution, adding a certain percentage of the tackifier secondly, continuously conducting stirring for 30-45 minutes till the tackifier is completely dissolved, and putting the adhesive into a tank. When being used, the pelleting adhesive provided by the invention is capable of replacing vapor, spraying slurry, clay and the like used in the conventional pelleting process, is uniformly spayed to a material surface at the front end ofa pelleting roller, and is convenient to use, high in pelleting rate and capable of effectively reducing energy consumption and environment stress in the composite fertilizer production process.
