Problems solved by technology

[0003] Although this method can realize automatic classification, it requires the user to hold the garbage and wait for the system to identify and classify it. After the identification and classification are completed, the garbage can be discarded. The user experience is poor, and it does not meet the common use of users in public places to directly discard garbage. Habit

Abstract

The invention discloses a binocular-vision-based rubbish classification and identification system and a method thereof. The rubbish classification and identification system comprises a sorting guide mechanism, a rubbish detection inlet channel, a local end processor and two CCD cameras. The two CCD cameras are arranged up and down in the vertical direction of the rubbish detection inlet channel. The rubbish detection inlet channel communicates with the sorting guide mechanism. The output ends of the two CCD cameras are connected with the input end of the local end processor. The sorting guidemechanism and the local end processor are in an electrical connection relation. The binocular cameras, especially the CCD cameras, are arranged in the vertical up-down direction of the rubbish detection inlet channel, target rubbish moving in the vertical direction is detected and tracked, system complexity is lowered, and thus thrown rubbish can be identified and classified faster.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the technical field of garbage disposal, in particular to a binocular vision-based garbage classification and recognition system and a binocular vision-based garbage classification and recognition method.
