Abstract

The secret-formulaporcelain outer glaze for the Ge kiln is prepared from the following raw materials: 25-32% of Huangshixuan glaze soil, 19-25% of Xiyuan glaze soil, 15-18% of agate powder, 20-24% of limestone, 4-6% of potash feldspar, 2-3% of purple gold soil, 0.6-0.9% of meteorite powder, 1-3% of plant ash and 2-5% of rosewood powder. Compared with the conventional formula, the formula of the invention has the advantages that the amount of the Huangshixuan glaze soil and the amount of the purple gold soil are slightly less, the jade texture of a glaze surface can be enhanced by adding a proper amount of theagate powder, and the glaze surface is glossy. A trace amount of the meteorite powder is added, so that the formed porcelain product has an effect of softening water, and moreover, tea astringent taste in a beverage can be removed. Due to addition of the rosewood powder, the fired product can retain slight taste of wood, and thus, the grade of the product is improved.
