The invention provides a set top box adaptive to an intelligent household equipment interface, and the set top box comprises a set-top box body which is internally provided with a cable modem module,a home control module, and a plurality of wireless communication modules. The home control module is electrically connected with the wireless communication module; the home control module comprises ajudgment unit and a selection unit; the cable modem module is used for analyzing the remote control instruction transmitted by the wireless communication module to obtain an analysis result, wherein the remote control instruction is a control instruction sent by remote control equipment; the judgment unit is used for judging the communication mode of the target terminal equipment according to theanalysis result; and the selection unit is used for selecting the corresponding wireless communication module to send a control command to the target terminal equipment according to the communicationmode of the target terminal equipment. Unified interfaces can be achieved on the set top box, and then unified control household products can be achieved through the set top box.
