The friction welding, plug welding and riveting combination spot welding method integrates three technical features of friction welding, plug welding and riveting, and can realize high-quality spot welding of the light alloys and the steel. For lapping or overlapping joints of the light alloys and the steel, a special driving mechanism is adopted to make special steel rivets rotate at a high speed and continue to be fed, when the rivets make contact with the light alloys, high-speed friction enables the light alloys to be ina thermoplastic state so that the rivets can be jammed into the light alloys, when the rivets are in contact with the steel, the end faces of the rivets rub against the steel at a high speed to formfriction welding, and finally spot welding of the light alloys and the steel is realized.
