Abstract

The invention discloses a rack which comprises an equipment manager and short-distance wireless reading equipment, at least one rack equipment is installed in the rack, each rack equipment comprises acorresponding electronic tag, and tag data belonging to the rack equipment where the corresponding electronic tag is located are stored in the electronic tags. The short-distance wireless reading equipment comprises an antenna used for reading at least one electronic tag of at least one rack equipment to obtain the tag data. And the equipment manager is used for acquiring the label data from theshort-distance wireless reading equipment. The problem of equipment asset management caused by increase of the number of equipment in a data center and updating of hardware configuration is solved.
