The embodiment of the invention provides a method and system for identifying house properties through big data, and aims to predict the rental condition of a house based on big data analysis. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring trajectory data of household registration population; according to the trajectory data, at least one staying trajectory set is obtained, and the staying trajectory set represents a trajectory with staying exceeding a time threshold value; obtaining semantic information and spatial data of each staying track set; acquiring spatial data and semantic information of a house property corresponding to the household registration population; obtaining a staying track set with semantic information matched with the semantic information according to the semantic information of the real estate, judging whether the distance between the spatial data of the real estate and the spatial data of the staying track set is greater than a non-associated threshold value or not, and adding an identifier to the real estate if the distance is greater than the non-associated threshold value so as to predict the rental condition of the real estate. After the rental houses are predicted, the predicted rental houses can be verified, managed and controlled in a targeted mode, and registration and change of the rental houses are completed.
