Disclosed are a method for accessing a network in a wireless communication system and an apparatus therefor. Specifically, a method for accessing a network by user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a network, a skip condition of an access barring check operation for a cell supported by a base station; determining whether the UE satisfies the skip condition of the access barring check operation; when the skip condition of the access barring check operation is satisfied, determining that access to the network on the cell has not been barred; and performing access to the network on the cell without performing the access barring check operation.
