Problems solved by technology

[0005] However, in wireless backhaul links, especially in multi-hop wireless backhaul links, the forwarding of URLLC services may inevitably increase the delay of URLLC services
Currently, there is no way specified in the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standard to transport low-latency traffic (such as URLLC traffic) in the wireless backhaul link

Embodiment Construction

[0026] Embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. Although the accompanying drawings illustrate some embodiments of the present disclosure, it should be understood that the present disclosure may be implemented in various ways, and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments described herein. Instead, embodiments are provided for a more thorough and complete understanding of the present disclosure. It should be understood that the drawings and embodiments of the present invention are for illustrative purposes only and do not impose any limitations on the scope of protection of the present invention.

[0027]As used herein, the term "network device" refers to a base station or other entity or node in a communication network that has a particular function. The term "base station" (BS) may refer to node B (NodeB or NB), evolution node B (eNode B or eNB), remote radio unit (RRU), radio frequency head (R...

Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to methods and devices for backhaul transmission. In an example embodiment, a first network device transmits UL data to a second network device in a first uplink (UL) backhaul link, the first UL backhaul link being scheduled by the first network device. The second network device is located upstream of the first network device. A first network device receives DL data from a second network device in a first downlink (DL) backhaul link. The first DL backhaul link is scheduled by the second network device. In this way, transmission delay can be reduced and transmission efficiency can be improved.

Description

Technical field [0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to the telecommunications field, and relate specifically to methods and devices for backhaul transmission. Background [0002] High bandwidth (or capacity) and low latency requirements have been specified for fifth-generation (5G) networks. For example, enhanced mobile bandwidth (eMBB) services require high bandwidth (or capacity), and ultra-reliable and low-latency communication (URLLC) services require low latency. In order to meet the low latency requirements of URLLC services, IN THE DOWNLINK (DL) RADIO ACCESS, THE URLLC packet (or burst) is allowed to be inserted into the ongoing eMBB burst. In the context of the present disclosure, radio access refers to communication between a base station (BS or network device) and a user device (UE or terminal device) served by the network device. DL radio access refers to communication from a network device to a terminal device. [0003] In uplink (UL) radio a...
