The method comprises the steps of obtaining an upgrading request; according to the upgradingrequest, migrating the Kubernetes resources in the low-version cluster to the high-version cluster; updating the container in the high-version cluster according to the resources in the high-version cluster; and upgrading the low-version Kubelet on the host machine to the high-version Kubelet, and taking over the updated container in the high-version cluster from the high-version Kubelet so as tocomplete the upgrading process. The upgrading method can be used for upgrading the cluster of any version, the universality is higher, the risk of overall upgrading of the cluster is reduced, the riskis reduced to the host machine dimension, and other containers and host machines in the cluster cannot be influenced by upgrading failure of one host machine.
